Baked Beans with Maple

Our baked beans are always a hit of the meal, and yet so easy to make.  Maple syrup makes the difference.  This recipe creates a ying and a yang of sweet and sour that take beans to a new level of taste.  Try it, and you'll see what we mean!  Serves 15

(If you like to cook your beans in the oven topped with bacon, enjoy!  But cooking this recipe on the stove without bacon is easier and, we feel, just as tasty.)

Ingredients:
 (2) 28 oz. cans Bush's baked beans
1/4 cup Brown or Dijon mustard
1/4 cup Vermont Amber or Grade B maple syrup
1/4 cup Molasses

Mix everything together and simmer for at least 30 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.  Don't let the beans burn!
